The Ginsfins Hatchery is located in Northeastern N.Y. It is owned and operated by Ginny Rider. Ginny has been involved in many aspects of the hobby for 15 years. Over the years, Ginny has attended numerous seminars and workshops on fish keeping, breeding, nutrition, water chemistry and, new technologies in filtration. She also involves herself in auctions and fish shows in her area and, in 1997 took 2nd prize in the International Catfish Competition in Westport Ct. Aside form the hatchery Ginny is a full time college student studying for a Bachelor degree in Technology specializing in fisheries and aquaculture.
